A system built
around you, and for you.
Off-the-shelf platforms make you bend the business to fit them and charge per employee every month. We build around how you actually work — and hand over the code together with the access, so the system is yours rather than rented.
Websites
A website is where a person decides whether to deal with you at all. And they decide fast: within seconds they work out whether things are clear here and whether this looks like a serious company.
So a website isn’t an «information page». It’s a sequence: what a person sees first, in what order they get answers, when exactly they’re asked to act and whether by that point they have a reason to. If the order is off, they leave — even if everything they need is somewhere on the site.
Most often that’s the problem, not that «the site is old».
- Build the structure around the customer journey, not around «what everyone else does»
- Write copy that answers objections before they come up
- Make it look the part for your price level: an expensive service should look expensive
- Mobile version always: most people arrive on a phone
- Connect the forms to wherever you actually work
- Basic SEO groundwork and loading speed
- If needed, a client dashboard right on the site: statuses, documents, referral links
- A site that holds attention and carries a person through to an enquiry
- Full access to the code, the domain and the hosting
- The ability to edit the content yourselves
- Analytics connected — you can see what works on the site
- No monthly payments to us
Depends on the number of pages, the complexity of the design and the integrations required. We quote the exact figure after the audit.
Internal systems
An internal system is what your team works in every day: where customers, deals, orders, stock and documents are tracked. Usually it’s either a handful of spreadsheets that one person keeps in their head, or an off-the-shelf CRM you had to break your own process to fit.
An off-the-shelf product is built «for everyone», so you’ll always have half a screen of fields you don’t need and be missing two that you do. Plus a subscription that grows with every new hire, and data that sits in someone else’s service.
We do it the other way round: first we look at how you work, then build the system around that. It contains exactly what’s needed and nothing extra to figure out.
- Work out how you actually operate, not how it should look in theory
- Build the system around that process: only the fields and steps you need
- Roles and permissions: who sees what and who can change what
- Dashboards for customers or partners, if you need them
- Reports built for you specifically, not generic ones
- Migrate the data from your spreadsheets without losing anything
- A system a new hire can learn in an hour rather than a week
- The source code and the database, on your side
- No charge for every new employee
- Documentation in plain language
- The option to hand further work to any developer
Depends on the number of roles and processes and the volume of data to migrate from the old spreadsheets.
Integrations
Website, phone system, CRM, spreadsheets, messengers, accounting — it’s all there, but each lives its own life. Someone moves data between them by hand. As a result the numbers differ from system to system, and the answer to «how many deals do we have» depends on where you look.
- Connect the website, the bot, the CRM, telephony, spreadsheets and payment services
- Define which data goes where and what counts as the source of truth
- Remove double entry
- Add monitoring: if something doesn’t get through, you’ll know
- Work with what you already have instead of rebuilding everything
- The same numbers in every system
- Data that moves itself
- A diagram of how it’s all connected, so it’s clear to more than just us
- Alerts when something fails, instead of silence
What people ask most often.
Cheaper at the start, yes. Now do the sum over three years, including the per-employee fee and the customisations you’ll end up commissioning anyway. It often works out more expensive — and the data isn’t yours. If in your case an off-the-shelf system really is the better deal, we’ll say so and help you set it up.
Nothing. The code, the database, the access and the documentation are yours from the moment the stage is paid for. The system keeps running and any developer can extend it. We deliberately don’t build things so that everything stops without us.
No. We split it into stages, deliver each separately and invoice on delivery. You see the result before committing the next payment, and you can stop after any stage.
Often, yes. First we look at the code and judge which is cheaper: extending it or rewriting it. We’ll answer honestly, even when «extend it» means less money for us.
Most of it at the start, while we work out how your process runs — that’s one or two meetings. After that we show interim results and ask for comments, usually an hour a week.
We quote deadlines with margin, because a missed deadline costs more than an extra week in the plan. If we can see we won’t make it, we say so in advance rather than on delivery day.
We’ll cost it out
before work starts.
We’ll look at how your process runs and what exactly needs building. Then we’ll put together a prioritised list of work with a price and a deadline for each item. The audit and the plan are free.
